The First Christmas Item!

Here's the very first Christmas item that I have put into my shop:

Seems he put on a few in the off-season this year, and he'd like to just hang out with you for the holidays instead of traveling the world this Christmas Eve. He sits about 3 inches tall, and has tiny little antlers. I used just a little bit of glitter fiber for his nose, so it's just the slightest bit sparkly!

I wanted to also let everyone know that pretty much any of my needle felted items can be made into Christmas tree ornaments. I can add a little embroidery floss loop to hang them with for no extra charge! Get your cute needle felted fix over the holidays by having them as ornaments. And after the holidays if you love them too much to pack them back up, but don't want the hangers left on them, you can just snip the floss and they can reside on your shelf or desk year round!

There will be plenty more holiday creations to choose from soon. Including some red and green acorns!

Get ready for Christmas!

If you're looking for a fun way to count down the days to Christmas, check out my mom's Etsy shop!

Santa Advent Calendars

They're fun and easy to use for you or your children! Santa is painted on nice sturdy poster board, and each day is written on a piece of double sided tape. All you do is peel off the number for the day it is and then stick a cotton ball to it to count down to Christmas! It comes with all the cotton balls needed, and even a nice little ribbon to hang it up with.

You could use it two different way too:

Start at 1 and go by the calendar to count up to the 25th,
or start at the 25th and count down to 1 showing how many days until Christmas!

You choose which way to celebrate and have fun using it :D

They make a great early gift too!

Acorns And More Acorns

So I know it's been a little bit since I last posted. I've had a lot going on, some good things, some... not so good. But I'm back now and I've got acorns and acorns and acorns to show you lol! There will probably be even more acorns in a few more days :)

Here's a set of rainbow acorns:

And here's a nice set of fall themed acorns:

And I put up a set of white wintery acorns just today:

I'm sure there will be a couple more sets of acorns to come. Probably a blue set, and maybe a pink one Valentines, and possibly a spring colors set in the future. They're fun to make, and I think they look really cute with a real acorn top glued to them. It adds a fun natural look to.... anything! Put them in a jar, a dish, or just on a table or shelf.

Fall and Halloween Continued

Here's some more of the fall and halloween line for this year:

We have some fun needle felted acorns in fall colors:

And some needle felted candy corn:

It's even the same size as the candy! Be careful that you don't get them confused with the real thing, lol!

We also have some new regular items...

Including some fun stars in solid colors:

And this set of needle felted hearts in shades of purple:

There may be a few Thanksgiving things coming up in the near future, and then it's onto..... *gasp* Christmas. I know, it seems early for Christmas, but seeing as listings last for 4 months, and some people get going early on figuring out new decorations, or might even be using some items for crafts, gotta get going asap!

An Art From Our House Feature :)

Since I've been pretty busy and don't have much to offer in the way of new things, I thought I'd do a quick feature of some of my mom's items in her shop: Art From Our House

She has some beautiful one of a kind art work up, all originals, no prints!

A wonderful landscape piece, Purple Mountains:

And here's a great fall picture frame:

It would look make a really nice compliment to your fall decor in your home! Check out Art From Our House for more great work, there are cute tote bags, decorative organizers and even nice serving trays too!

Fall, Autumn, Harvest, Halloween!

Call it what you like, here is the beginning of the holiday trimmings! We have a few pumpkin sets, a jack o lantern, and a scary ghost! :O

Here they are~

The smaller pumpkin set (these guys are really teeny):

Jack-O-Lantern:

And the ghost!!

Soon I'm hoping to finish up some fall skinny scarves (more for looks than warmth), and there's a harvest stumpwork embroidery in the works, but with orders and life it's taking a little longer than expected. Maybe some sneak peeks of it soon :)

Also, for those interested, there will be a step-by-step of sorts of needle felting soon. It would have been up with or nearer this post, but I kept forgetting to take pictures while working. It's funny how it's so easy to get caught up and go too far, and there's really no going back with needle felting lol.

See you next time!!

We have a few embroideries, and a couple needle feltings~

A flower with a tiny bee:

A simple love embroidery:

And here's a really cute bunny with a green jacket:

And this mermaid, she sits on her own needle felted rock:

And a sneak "peek" (I say "peek" because I'm not really showing any pictures to see.. lol) of what's to come for the beginning of the holidays... tiny needle felted pumpkin sets, needle felted leaves, autumn themed embroidery... hmmm maybe needle felted ghosts?? I haven't decided if there will be any plushies that are fall or halloween themed. We'll see :D

Introductions and Beginnings

I decided that now is a good as time as any to start branching out for my Etsy shop. I've made a couple sales and have been thinking of more ways to get the word out, and this seems like a good way to (and also a way that I already understand the ins and outs of using). So here it is!

Copach Flur on Etsy

I'll be posting the happenings of what is new to the shop, things that maybe have fallen down in the listing and maybe need some notice, or what is going on in general with me and the shop. I would expect weekly postings, as I don't always have activity every single day.

Some other places that I might talk about are my mom's Etsy shop:
Art from our House
and her blog:
Mythographer's Keyhole
